Delete your Taps account
This page gives users a way to request account deletion even if they cannot access the app.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Taps.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Choose Permanently delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion.
Request deletion outside the app
If you cannot access Taps, send a deletion request to:

Please include the phone number, email address, or login method connected to your Taps account. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner.
What will be deleted
When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize associated account data where reasonably possible, including profile data, personal profile content, contact relationships, schedules, chat data associated with your account, QR state, and local cache where applicable.
What may be retained
We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. Some data may remain temporarily in backups or logs before being removed according to our retention practices.
