Privacy Policy
This draft explains how Taps collects, uses, stores, and shares information. It should be reviewed before public launch.
1. Who we are
Taps is provided by INITIATOR KOS GREENENERGY INC., operating as RESONANT SYSTEMS ("Taps", "we", "us", or "our").
2. Information we collect
- Account information such as phone number, email address, login provider information, and Firebase user identifiers.
- Profile information such as display name, avatar, banner image, bio, phone number, email, and optional social links.
- Contact and relationship information, including friend requests, accepted contacts, nicknames, muted users, and blocked users.
- Schedule and planning information, including plan title, date, start and end time, participants, reminders, places, and plan status.
- Chat and message information, including text messages, plan invitations, status updates, and unread state.
- Location and map information, including selected places, addresses, map search results, and approximate or precise location when permission is granted.
- Camera, photos, and uploaded media when you choose to upload an avatar or banner.
- AI plan creation text, including typed text or speech-recognized text sent to an AI service when you request AI draft creation.
- Device, diagnostics, performance, and advertising-related information when relevant SDKs are enabled.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide login, profiles, contacts, schedules, chats, invitations, reminders, map selection, AI-assisted drafts, support, safety, diagnostics, app improvement, advertising where enabled, and legal compliance.
4. Third-party services
Taps may use Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Maps and Places, OpenAI or another AI provider, Google AdMob, and diagnostic services. These providers may process data as needed to provide their services.
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.
5. Data deletion and retention
You can request account deletion in the app or through the external account deletion page. We will delete or anonymize associated account data where reasonably possible, unless limited retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or backup integrity.
